1. What we collect

• Account data: email, name, password hash, sign-in metadata.
• Portfolio inputs: ticker symbols, weights, and any holdings you submit.
• Generated reports: results of the analyses you run.
• Billing data: handled by Stripe — we store the Stripe customer ID, plan, and high-level invoice metadata; we do not store card numbers.
• Usage data: standard server logs (IP, timestamp, user agent) for security and debugging.

2. How we use it

• To run the analyses you request and persist your reports.
• To process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe.
• To send transactional emails (sign-in, password reset, receipts).
• To detect abuse, prevent fraud, and improve the Service.

3. Who we share it with

We share data only with infrastructure providers that operate the Service on our behalf:

• Stripe — payments and subscription management.
• Lovable Cloud / Supabase — database, authentication, and hosting.
• AI providers (Google, OpenAI) — to generate ticker classifications and optimization recommendations.
• Market-data APIs — to fetch fund metrics for your tickers.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Retention

Account and report data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time by emailing us; we will remove your data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain billing records.

5. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Email support@feeoptimizer.appto exercise these rights.

6. Cookies

We use only the cookies strictly necessary for sign-in and the embedded Stripe checkout. We do not run third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized operators. No system is perfectly secure; report suspected vulnerabilities to security@feeoptimizer.app.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16. Do not use it if you are under 16.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
